“Really, instead she turnt tricks. Justice, she ain’t been the same since she started drinking so heavy. She couldn’t keep a job and she damn sure wasn’t paying attention to what Cam was doing.”

“Do you know what Cam is doing?”

“No, but I know Tammy’s ass has gone missing. Camilla call herself threatening me if I knew where she was and wasn’t telling her. Can you believe that, like her lil ass could cause any damage.” She smiled.

I smiled to thinking just how in the dark Geena was. If she really knew how Cam had changed over the last year she would be more careful.

“Have you seen Tammy? Between me and you.”

“She came late last night, I told her Camilla’s been looking for her. She acted real jumpy when I mentioned she been popping up here. Made me promise not to tell her.”

“Ok. Next time you see Camilla give me a call. Don’t say nothing to nobody.” I stood up to leave.

“Justice, she told me that Tony was dead and she told me Camilla shot him in the bathtub.” She confessed with horror and disbelief in her face.

“Really?” This was new information to me. Hall thought that maybe Tony was ducking him to avoid giving him his money like he was known for doing.

“Yea, Tammy says Camilla’s changed, she’s on drugs she’s with that boy all the time. She said honestly she’s scared to be around her.”

“Scared to be around her?” I wondered what that was about.

“She said Cam went crazy and chained her to a bed and kept her locked up for five days, just crazy shit. I’m really worried about her Justice.”

“Ok, look I gotta go but I’ll look into that. By the way, I’m a ghost in these streets, don’t say shit to nobody about me being here.” With that I let myself out. This was definitely new insight to the person Cam had become. I was still impressed with her savage but I needed to talk to her about this, and Sean.

Soon as I got back in my car I called her phone.

“Hello.” She whispered.

“Camilla, we need to talk. Now.”

“I can’t…”

“Either you meet me or I can knock on your door you decide.” I was tired of playing these games with her. Hall was right, she was still new to what she’d allowed herself to get into. Who better to show her than me? To be honest I was being too gentle with her already ,cause I had a little remorse for her. Hall walking out on her like that was a little wrong considering she was ready to kill him or die trying. If I wasn’t at least a little emotionally attached to her now would have been the perfect time to get rid of her and ol' boy. She was emotionally unstable and probably went right to him to be comforted.

“Where?” she asked after a long pause. I told her to meet me back at Hall’s crib. He gonna trip when I tell him this shit.
